Upcoming teas at the Darien Community Association

Future Afternoon Tea dates are below.

• “Plant Sale Tea” – Friday, May 9th, 11:00am – 3:00pm (last booking 2:00pm)

Every year the DCA greenhouse group, of which I am a member, holds a fabulous plant sale, selling perennials, annuals and vegetables which we have grown ourselves.  I have always thought that opening the tearooms during the sale would be perfect. In the Uk every nursery and garden center has a tearoom. I have spent many a lovely afternoon with friends, first buying plants and then heading off for some tea and cake.  The plant sale starts at 9am, so come early, buy some plants and then stay for tea!

• “Graduation Tea” – Thursday, June 6th    I have now seen two of my children graduate DHS, sat throughout Middle school, Elementary school and kindergarten graduations and strongly feel it is time for us, the adults,  to have our own graduation celebration.  So join us as we approach the end of another school year, whether or not you have anybody graduating, and congratulate yourself with a pot of tea and cake!
